ペパーミントのリキュールとバニラアイス
中学生の頃に住んでいた家の近くに、レストランがありました。
たぶん「アラスカ」という名前だったと思います。
そこで初めて、ペパーミント・リキュールがかけてある\nバニラアイスに出会いました。
口に入れると、ペパーミントの味が広がって、
その後、アイスクリームの冷たさと、バニラの香り。
なんだか懐かしいような気がして、何か思い出しそうな気がして、
また、口に入れるのでした。
初めてなのに懐かしい。
そういう感じです。
そういえば、大学１年生のときに、
新宿の中華料理屋さんで初めて杏仁豆腐を食べました。
その頃、ピアノを弾いたり、ギターを弾いていて、
多分その店のオーナーが連れて行ってくれたのだと思います。
「伊藤くん、これ、おいしいよ」
と言って、勧めてくれました。
それで、スプーンで口に入れてみると、
その香りと冷たさ。
それがすごく懐かしくて、初めてなのに懐かしくて、、、。
その後も、あの懐かしさを求めて、
ペパーミントアイスや杏仁豆腐を口にするのですが、
あの懐かしさはありません。
昨日、ペパーミント・リキュールをかけたアイスを食べました。
それで、懐かしいと感じた、そのことを思い出しました。
