靖国神社
今朝は、正月のお飾りを靖国神社に持って行きました。
毎年、明治神宮や乃木神社などに持って行くのですが、
今年は散歩のついでに、靖国神社。
母方の祖父は先の戦争で戦死しました。
私は会ったことがありません。
母は、大連から引き上げてきて、
それは苦労したのでしょうが、
母から苦労話というものも聞いたことがありません。
だから、苦労話をするのも、聞くのもあまり楽しくありません。
以前、本田宗一郎さんが講演で話していました。
よく「苦労したでしょう」と聞かれるのですが、
私はオートバイをつくるのが楽しくて楽しくて、
気がつくと、朝になっていることがあった。
でも、それを苦労なんて思ったことがありません。
この話を聞いたとき、せいせいしました。
